Description: Classic White (MB paint code 737) with Bamboo MB-Tex interior, 5 cylinder overhead cam 3.0 liter pre-chamber turbocharged diesel engine, 4-speed automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, 4-wheel independent suspension, A/C and heat climate control, power windows, central locking, power steering, cruise control, original Becker AM/FM cassette stereo with adjustable sleeve height power antenna, electrically heated rear windshield, quartz chronometer, tachometer, 3-way adjustable front bucket seats, front center folding arm rest, amber halogen fog lamps, halogen head lamps, zebrano wood dash trim and console, combed wool carpet, 2-speed windshield wiper with 5-second mist interval control, parcel nets on front seat backrests, full spare and tool kit, road-side trunk reflector, first-aid kit, Owner's Manual, Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Booklet stamped every 5k miles, complete file of hard copy records, and other original Mercedes-Benz literature.
Exterior Condition: The Classic White paint is absolutely phenomenal. It is clear, not faded or oxidized, and literally shines like brand new. Paint is completely original. Not a single scratch or ding, only a few, very, very minor chips given its 32 year history. Bumpers are excellent, chrome is excellent, body trim is excellent, brand new tires, wheels are excellent and were recently powder coated, flawless dark brown and burnt orange pinstripe marking the era, door seals are excellent, weather-stripping is excellent, grill is excellent, headlight doors are good/excellent (minor chip on the driver side headlight door, I'm trying to locate a new set), head lamps and fog lamps are excellent, side markers are excellent, original glass is excellent (front windshield was replaced due to minor pitting), emblems are bright, shiny and excellent. Original factory window stickers, interior stickers, interior door jam spec plate, etc., are all excellent.
Interior Condition: The Bamboo MB-Tex interior is excellent and looks like new. The seats are still firm and supportive, and until recently they bore the original sheep skin covers ordered brand new by the first owner when the car left the dealership (a common accessory/upgrade in Southern California back in the day). There are absolutely no rips, no cracks, no tears, no fading, nothing. The stitching on the bottom cushion on the backseat has separated from the backing, but I'm having that fixed this week. There are absolutely no cracks in the dash. Era correct protective coco floor mats. The headliner is clean, unfaded and perfect. The zebrano wood dash trim is excellent with a deep shine in the original factory finish, and there are no chips, scratches or cracks in the wood. All of the accessory switches, knobs, etcetera are excellent without faded symbols, and they are all in proper working condition.
Mechanical Condition: This car runs fantastic. Its 3.0 liter pre-chamber turbocharged motor is extremely fast and strong, which is validation to its low miles. Cold starts are instantaneous. The transmission shifts firm, timely, and proper. Suspension is excellent. Steering response is solid and tight without any play. The motor, chassis, and engine compartment are exceptionally clean and dry. The car recently received new front and rear brake pads, oil change, 30k service, valve adjustment, freshly lubed door jams and other tracks/hinges, new glow plugs, A/C service, tune-up, etc.
Accessories Condition: All power windows function excellent. Central locking works fast and excellent. One key fits doors, glove compartment, and trunk (original key, spare key and valet key included). Air conditioning/heater/defroster all work perfectly, and blow heat and air from the proper vents respectively. Stereo and power antenna work excellent. Gauges, clock and instrument cluster all work excellent. Seats adjust properly. Glovebox opens/closes and locks properly. Dome lights work well, along with turn signals, head lights, high beams, brake lights, and parking lights.
